Officially assuming the position of Creative Director of Gucci in January 2015 after the hasty departure of designer Frida Giannini, designer Alessandro Michele designed and presented 4 collections for Gucci in just 9 months and blew up a storm.

Alessandro Michele debuted and appeared for the first time in the Menswear Fall-Winter 2015 collection with his design team.

The decision to choose Alessandro Michele as Creative Director of Gucci is considered extremely courageous and a landmark in the fashion world, which still favors famous names and faces to create more resonance for the brand.
